This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

One for the guys....

I missed a friend's birthday so I wanted to make him something special. Although there are a few things I would change, I am pleased with how this one turned out. I am not very adept with the brayer, so I used sponges for the sunset blending.
Thanks for looking!

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso.

So pretty! Er, handsome! I, too, prefer sponging over the brayer. I feel like I have more control (and no lines!)

Gorgeous, Cathy! I love the sunset, and the way the tail breaks the circle is perfect!

Very masculine, indeed! Love the colors. I, too, struggle with the brayer. Sponges are quicker, easier, less clean up, and I prefer them, which is good, since my brayer rarely sees ink:)

Amazing card! You did a great job on it. I wish I could sponge like that. :)

Cathy that card is amazing! How did you get the sun to stay so white while using a brayer?

Ruth, I just punched out a circle and used it as a mask, and sponged around it.
