This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

Hi, Silver Spring Stampers!

It is time to get creative and have fun stamping at Chris' again. You should have received your invitation with the dates and times by email by now. Call me if you didn't and I will give you all the details. I will be teaching you another stamping skill and also will provide everything you need to make at least two lovely cards to take home. The month of May has a fabulous special on the double sided designer paper and textured card stock. Buy three packs of Designer Series paper (including our Specialty Designer Series paper) or 12" x 12" textured card stock, and get one FREE! It is a great opportunity to stock up on paper and card stock or to do a paper share with fellow stampers. I will explain how to do a paper share at the class. Be sure to check out the papers in the catalog and make your wish lists ahead of time. If you don't have a catalog you can see all the products online here StampPretty@ Stampin Up!

* Class fees for May:
* $10 for materials and class if you prefer not to order
* No class fee for anyone ordering merchandise from the catalog

Shh.... they are for my MIL

I guess it is safe to post these cards on my blog, since my mother-in-law doesn't go blog hopping. I'm making a little stash of these for her for a little Mother's Day gift. I want to make something to keep the cards in too. I will probably make a matching folder or box using the same Raspberry Tart paper. I made 4 of each cards design and I learned something. I don't like making duplicates of cards, but it's just too time consuming to make 16 different cards so I just had to grin and bear it. How many of you make matched set and duplicates? What is your favorite way to present them as a gift? I do love the Raspberry Tart designer paper and the Pocket Silhouettes stamps from Stampin' Up!, though, so I think I am going to use these designs for my May classes too.

Bad blogger, bad blogger...

Okay, I'll own it! I must have a touch of Spring fever. I'm enjoying the fresh green of awakening nature but I've only been lookin'. I haven't taken a photo or scrapped a page in the last couple of weeks. I need to shake off the winter blahs and get busy. After the busy Sale-A-Bration months were over, I got lazy. Since our family has a bunch of birthdays next month, I am going to need a bunch of cards. I got one finished today that I spent a little extra time on. I did some sewing and some paper piecing on it. I finally used my Stampin' Up Little Leaves Sizzlet. Thanks for visiting!

Easter week.......

This week is one that I always spend contemplating the amazing gift of salvation given to us because of our Lord Jesus' sacrifice.
The song Amazing Love, words and music by Billy James Foote says it all.
Hear the song on YouTube sung by Lyndsey Wallace

The lyrics:

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, You were condemned.
I am alive and well, Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.

Amazing love, How can it be
That You, my King, would die for me?
Amazing love, I know it’s true.
It’s my joy to honor You,
In all I do, I honor You.

A post for my poor neglected blog...

I guess I had a little blog burnout, but I am over it now. This week I've been occupied with finishing up Sale-A-Bration orders and quarterly sales for Stampin Up!
Now that that is done and our taxes are filed, I can do some creating. My focus has been on Easter cards and using some older stamps and supplies. Monday I had a few friends over and we stamped together. Here are a couple of the cards I made. Thanks for looking!
