This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

Wow, it is the end of January....

I seem to have lost a week somewhere. I can't believe my last post was the 20th. I have been preoccupied with my Stampin Up workshops and classes. With Sale-A-Bration in full swing, it is such a busy time. I have a couple of Valentines to share. I think that the Love You Much set is one I will use over and over.

I did get the bundle with the heart punch and the Candy Lane paper and I am so glad I did. I don't know how I got along without all the fun Stampin Up punches. They are like potato chips. You can never just have one! Here is another card made with the
Love You Much bundle.

Something from nothing....

is one of life's simple pleasures. I love it when I can made something from free stuff. I am always saving things. Boxes, frames, and other wooden things that might be cool to alter. Unfortunately, I save more of them than I actually use for anything. I had been saving three wooden boxes that smoked salmon comes in and all of a sudden it hit me! Cabinets for my reinkers and Stickles. I was prepared to glue them together and hang them on the wall unfinished but that is when DH took over. He added a little shelf in two of them, sanded the lids so they slide easily, stained them a natural wood color and framed them with a nice mitered edge. This made them stronger, nicer looking and so useful. Here are a couple of photos of the finished project.

Sharing a page today...

This is my son-in-law and my granddaughter Olivia. I just love this photo I took of them. The way they are looking at each other just makes my heart melt.

Paper and elements from Kim Hill's Adoration kit available at CG Essentials and ACOT. Thanks for looking!

Love You Much..

I do and it is a Stampin Up stamp set too. In fact it came in a bundle with a terrific heart punch and some gorgeous DSP. (double-sided printed paper) The good news, I have it and I'm making Valentines! The bad news, you might not have this set yet. But the great news is it is all in the new Spring-Summer catalog which will be active January 18th. It is a beautiful book and I am really excited about the new goodies. Here is my Valentine today, very simple but sweet, I think. As always, thanks for looking.

I have a page today

I am working on some cards, Valentine's but still have to photograph them so I will share my latest scrapbook page with you for now. This one is a little quirky but I really like it. I used one of Jan Hosford's templates as a starting point then I tweaked and played until I liked it. I think my family will get a kick out of this one. Thanks for visiting my blog.

A little brown bird....

watching it from my window inspired me to make this little brown card. Now let's see if I can remember what a used to make it. I didn't write it down as I usually do. Brown textured cardstock from Bazzill. Cuttlebug embossing folder. Bird stamp from Stampin Up's Garden Collage set. Thanks for looking.
