This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

Oh, I forgot I had that....

Don't you love it when you find old supplies or stamp sets that you forgot about and you remember how much you loved them when they were new? I have been digging around in my stash again and found some neat sets to stamp with. I found the Stampin' Up! "Sun Ripened" set and I made this with it.

Supplies:
Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Handsome Hunter, Basic Black and Sage Shadow card stock. En Francais background stamp and the pear is from the retired Sun Ripened set. SU Natural Hemp Twine. Stampin' Write markers.

Here is another one I had fun with. Why not look for some of your neglected stamps or supplies and show them some love by making something pretty tonight. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies:
Stampin' Up! Naturals White, Certainly Celery, Really Rust card stock. Polka Dot paper- Chatterbox, Measuring tape twill ribbon. Stamps: Butterfly-Hero Arts, sentiment SU Elegant Greetings (retired), Friends background stamp- Inkadinkado

Oooh, very nice! Both are just beautiful. I need to go through my sets and pull the ones out that have the most dust on them, LOL! We get stuck on favorites and neglect some great ones!

Beautiful cards. I love the richness of the first one. The butterfly on the second one is awesome. Isn't it great when you find an old favorite? It's like running into an old friend while out and about that you didn't realize how much you missed them till you saw them again. Love it! :)

Beautiful cards! I love the layouts you used on the cards. The butterfly cards layering really makes it "pop"

Those are both beautiful! I need to go through and find some of my 'forgotten' stamps and use them. I should make myself do that.

Hi Cathy Rose :) These cards are fabulous and your stamping/coloring is gorgeous, as always. I agree, it's so much fun to rediscover old treasures. Things get so buried in your stash with new things coming in that we tend to forget about them for a while. Thanks for your sweet comment on my technical difficulty post :) I'm finally back to blogging and couldn't be happier! See you soon!
