This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

Going to the beach for a few days...

What to pack? I hate this part. I "need" everything but then use about 1/2 of what I pack. Bathing suit, beach towel? Oh, that is not what I am obsessing about. What CRAFTS should I take? How much paper, ink, tools? What if I need my Big Shot? Ack! I think I will just throw as much as I can in a bunch of tote bags and load up the Jeep. Thanks goodness we are driving and not flying there. (I haven't packed a single thing and we are leaving Sunday.(Shhh) This is my current favorite card....

Supplies:
Stampin' Up!Basic Black and Very Vanilla card stock. Old world map paper and striped ribbon from my scrapbooking stash. Collage stamp from Inkadinkado. Colored with Stampin' Pastels. Ink used is SU Basic Black and Walnut distressing ink.

What a gorgeous card!! I never take craft stuff on vacation with me (other than magazines). The one time I did, I never had time to mess with it anyway. Have fun!!

I love it! I can see why it's your favorite right now. :) I never take paper crafting stuff with me on vacation. I do however take a few books to read and a knitting or crocheting project. I just don't typically have the space or time for anything else!
