This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

It's a blizzard!

It really is. For the second time this winter we have more than two feet of snow. So far we have been lucky. The electricity hasn't gone off and I have my Internet connection. We won't be trying to drive anywhere, that is for sure. How can something that is so pretty be such a pain in the patootie?

Don shoveling the deck so it doesn't collapse because of the weight of the snow. The snow is up to his mid-thigh. This is not normal for Maryland's winters. Well, I guess it is a good reason to stay inside and work on some projects, maybe watch a movie or two. If it's cold and wintry in your part of the world, stay safe and warm.

That is a lot of snow! You have to make a card with the picture of the cardinal! Beautiful!

That looks wicked. We only got about half an inch but with a ton of 30-40 mph wind so we just have a few drifts. Nothing we can't walk through but the dog had a good time putting her nose in them. Stay safe and warm!!

Wow. The picture with the bird is breathtaking!!! That's a lot of snow! We got 8 inches last week, and our deck is really high with tall support beams, so we had to shovel it, too. It is pretty, but it can be a pain.
