It really is when you have a huge paper and card stock stash! I have been digging this weekend. While hubby is out digging in the snow, I've been digging in my old supplies again. I found this beautiful Club Scrap card stock that was embossed with black. When I got this card stock in a monthly scrap kit, I had no idea what to do with it, so there in the paper storage it has sat, sad and neglected. I decided to see what I could do with it. This brightly colored card is way out of the box for me, but I like it. I used the long rectangle Nestibilities to cut the window on the front of the card. I rediscovered a pretty butterfly die with matching embossing folders and I embellished the butterfly with a black Spica glitter pen. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment and add your blog address and I will come visit you. Have a great weekend :)

Ooh this is gorgeous!! I love the black and blue-amazing.
Gorgeous! Oh my...I love that color...but I agree, I think it would have intimidated me at first as well!
I love going through my stash and finding things like this. Sometimes you just need to revisit them to get a clue, and it's fun to actually use something from you stash, isn't it?
Very cool. Great colour and the butterfly looks fab.
The black and blue is very cool! The paper would have scared me a little, too, but look what you did with it! WOW!
Gorgeous card! I love the colors you used! It's amazing how much stuff we can accumulate! Love what you did with your stash.
