This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

A big thank you...

to everyone who attended the card workshop last Saturday. I had a great time working with you and I am looking forward to the next workshop in March. I have a couple of great projects planned for you. Please feel free to post here or call me if you have a particular type of card or a technique you would like me to show you. I will let you know the date soon. Check back here for details and sneak peeks of some things I am considering. Thanks again to Chris for hosting and to everyone that participated!

Love these little purses....

I just love 'em! I used the Stampin Up! tag punches, both the large and small and the Delicate Dots designer paper that is one of the Sale-A-Bration free products to make the purses. I also used some white brads and a flower stamp from Stampin Up!'s One of A Kind set. The original idea came from Debbie McNeill at craftyperson.com What girly girl wouldn't love a card with these cute little purses on them?

Sharing a layout today

Do you ever have so much you want to do that you don't get much done at all. That seems to be the mode I am in lately. I have a bunch of projects going round and round in my head, but I am having trouble deciding what I want to work on first. I have a card workshop to do this weekend, but I have Sunday afternoon free and I have lots of new Sale-A-Bration stamp sets to play with. For tonight, I have a scrapbook layout to share. Thanks for looking!

Saturday's Stamping Workshop 2/21/2009

Hi Stampers!
Just a reminder about the card workshop at Chris' this Saturday. If you haven't RSVP'd yet, you can call Chris or me anytime before Thursday. I want to be sure to have enough card kits made up for everyone's make and takes. Here is a peek at the cards we'll be making. If you click on them you can get a closer look. I hope you like them. They are a lot of fun to make!

If you can't make it but would like to order, you can easily order online or call me. During the month of February there is a free Spring-Summer idea book with any online order. Don't forget this month and next are Stampin Up!'s Sale-A-Bration months. You earn free stamp sets or Sale-A-Bration products with every $50 you spend.

Aways remember, you are welcome at the card workshops even if you just want to come for the crafts and fellowship. Looking forward to seeing you Saturday.

Best Regards, Cathy Richardson

Whoo loves ya baby

That is the first thing I thought of when I saw this little owl in the Goody Goody Gumdrops hostess set. So I made a couple of Valentines with it. I held off posting so the recipients wouldn't see it here before they got my card. I am still trying to use up some of my scrapbooking stash for my personal cards so this one is not all SU. I finally got to use those googly eyes I've had for a few years, lol. Thanks for looking!

Supplies:
Real Red, and Very Vanilla cardstock, scrap brown CS. Owl stamp from SU's Goody Goody Gum Drops hostess set, Printed paper from Provo Craft Mini Slab III, Heart to Heart punch, Full Heart punch, Texturz plates, Demensionals, and plastic googly eyes. Colored the owl with Copic markers.

Friday the 13th...

Nope, I am not superstitious, and don't have anything to say about Friday the 13th but it seemed like a good title for a blog post today. First of all, so sorry I haven't posted for a couple weeks. This is my first Sale-A-Bration as a Stampin Up! demonstrator and whoa, it has been keeping me busy! I sort of got behind in everything else. I even forgot to send cards for 3 friends birthdays. Bad, bad girl! I wanted to show you the cards I made for my watercolor classes I've done in the past month. I used the same ones at both of the classes. One of them was in an earlier post. The attendees really seemed to enjoy the class and it was so much fun to share something I love to do! Here are the cards. As always, thanks for looking!
