It has been awhile since I posted but hopefully things will slow down a bit soon and I can get organized enough to have some sort of posting schedule. I think that may be the answer, assigning tasks to everyday of the week. My mom always washed clothes on Monday and we could be sure we would be having homemade soup for dinner that night. She grocery shopping on the same day of the week and had an "ironing" day too. I think that her "schedule" gave our whole family a sense of structure. Nowadays, we seem to be going in so many directions at once, we hardly enjoy the moment we are living. But, alas I digress. I took a short walk down memory lane, not a bad thing. Anyway, here is my little card.
Supplies: All from Stampin' Up! Paper from the Welcome Neighbor Designer Paper Pad. Stamps: Whimsical Words both SAB 2010 choices. Sage Shadow, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. White gel pen for the dots and a little machine stitching.
Thanks for looking!

What a cute card. I keep seeing cards with that set and it's making me wish I'd gotten it.
I used to have a set weekly shopping night (determined by a meeting schedule), and it did make managing that end of things much easier. Unfortunately, I seem to need some sort of external factor to force me into any kind of schedule; I'm terrible at establishing structure on my own.
The card is adorable! I love the fun scene and the cheery yellow, and the detail of the dots and stitching is perfect!
Very nice card, Cathy! Every time I try to set a schedule for certain things, something comes along that messes it all up LOL It's a nice thought anyway!
Memory lane is a great place to go. :) Fabulous card. More and more I keep thinking I "need" that stamp set.
What a beautiful card! I love that saying and that image is adorable!
I am crossing my fingers that your weather is improving.
This is so cute! I am finding inspiration everywhere for this set, now I just have to ink it up.
I love this card! Great colors...I need to break out my Sage Shadow more often!
Hi Cathy Rose :) I love the idea of being scheduled and structured like that. I always try to create a schedule like that for those tasks, but life just seems to get in the way and mix things up on me. I keep trying though!
The card is lovely with it's homespun touches, love it!
Such a great idea! I have a "shopping day" but not a blogging day. I think everyday should be a stamping day! LOL
Love the colors you used on this one and the layout is so cool! The dots were a great effect!
I hear ya' about setting a schd. to leave messages on blogs. I've been thinking about doing the same thing.
The card looks great and the colors work so well together.
this card is darling! I love this set and now I need to get mine out! thanks for sharing!
Sweet card, Cathy! Love it!
I, too, have been trying to implement a schedule for our family life, but it's not working. Ahhh! So frustrating! I think it's b/c we have been so relaxed about everything for so long. It's hard getting back into doing things on set days and times (especially now that little league is taking over our lives LOL).
Very nice! And I can relate to the schedule issue! In todays busy pace, we just don't take enough time for the things we should. I don't have set days, but do all my housework/errands, etc in the mornings, so I am available non stop for my kids/outings/fun in the afternoons! It works well!
