This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

I have a birthday card to post tonight...

I have decided to make every Monday a "Make Something with Scraps" day. My friend Diana had a birthday today and I made her this card using some retired Stampin' Up!Green Tea designer paper and Baja Breeze card stock which is also retired.

Complete Supply List:
Stamps: Stampin' Up!'s Fifth Ave. Floral and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: SU Basic Black and Not Quite Navy Classic
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, and Naturals White
DSP: Green Tea
Light blue fibers from my stash
Black glitter pen

Thanks for visiting!

Wow this is so pretty! How did you do the blue part?? It looks so dimensional.

Thanks for the nice comments. I stamped the flowers in black on Certainly Celery, then I shaded the centers with Not Quite Navy on a sponge daubber. So Easy!

I really like your card and the whole Monday focus of using your scraps - just another way to stretch that creativity, huh?

But what I really like is your blog header! Sage and Chocolate Chip are just so yummy together. This is my first time to your blog so I will be "back reading" today.

WOW!!! I love your blue to green coloring. I aspire to have my art look like yours! I think that blue to green hue just makes the whole card POP!

How in the world did you make those flowers so pretty? WOW! This card is amazing. Make something with scraps day is a good idea! I am trying to use up a lot of my retired papers as well.
