This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

I almost forgot to share this one...

This layout is one for my "ABC-All About Me" book that I have been working on for about 3 three years and only have about 3 pages completed. Can you tell I don't care to scrap about myself much. I guess I don't find myself that interesting. Here is a layout about my musical talent or lack of, I should say. This is the "K" page. I'm working on it in a random fashion.

My first little stamp club met last Monday. Here is a photo of the cute little cards we made. The red card was inspired by a template in the Stampin Sucess magazine. These cards are 3 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches long. I love this size and they fit easily in a check mailer envie. At the last minute we decided to make a sunflower bookmark too.

To make these cards you need the One of A Kind stamp set, 1 3/8 inch square punch, Curly label stamp and punch, SU cardstock, inks, mat pack corner rounder punch and ribbon. Thanks for looking!

You have just got to love..

free stamps and free paper. That is what makes Stampin Up!'s Sale-A-Bration so much fun. I made this card with the free Polka Dot Punches set and the Delicate Dots paper from the SAB mini catalog. I am so hooked on this designer paper! Full credits here in my gallery at Splitcoaststampers.com

Don't forget that Sale-A-Bration is going on through the month of March too, so go over to my Demonstrator website to get the details. Thanks for visiting!

Sneak peek at the Spring mini catalog

The Spring Mini will be available April 1st with lots of all-new stamp sets and accessories in a 24-page, full-color mini catalog. I think we are all ready for a little warm weather and the promise of Spring. Stampin Up! wants to give you a sneak peek of the mini and a chance to purchase some great Easter and Spring themed stamps. Click on the Mini catalog on the right to see what is available starting March 1st. Besides getting an early start on those Spring cards, your purchase will still earn you Sale-A-Bration stamps and products for every $50 you spend. You can order on-line, or phone me your order, and I am always available to assist you with your order.
Happy Stamping!

Now, that's what I'm talking about!

This is snow! Not a dusting, not some anemic snowfall melting before noon, but a gorgeous fluffy white covering of everything under the sky. We have gotten more than a foot and it is still snowing. My DH even couldn't get in to work today, that is unheard of! We did lose power for a short while. That wasn't cool, but luckily it came back on rather quickly. I took a few photos so here is a peek at what it's like in my world right now.

Here is one that shows how deep it was on the deck and deck railings a while ago.
