This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

I may be.......

in the midst of Christmas preparations, but I have a birthday card to post. I forgot to post this one I made for my sister Chris back in November. I used Stampin' Up's Fifth Avenue Floral and Sincere Salutations stamp sets, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White card stock, Raspberry Tart designer paper, Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, Rose Red and Basic Black ink. I also used Nestibilities to make the ovals.

This is just beautiful! When I first looked at it, I thought the black was an area you had cut out!

Hey! This is really pretty! I have that DSP, too, and I have barely used any of it, it doesn't inspire me for whatever reason. But, I LOVE the way you have used it. I may have to pull it out again. The ovals look great, the pop of black really sets this card off!
