This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

Hugs to the Silver Spring group.....

I had a great time last weekend with the Silver Spring Stampers. We made two of the cards in my blog header and this card that goes with the set too.

The groups were really small and I loved being able to give personal attention to everyone. We all learned how to make the most of Stampin' Up!'s beautiful design papers. The catalog just doesn't do the papers justice. They are so gorgeous when you get them in your hands. I stocked up since we are having the buy three, get one free offer in May. I have lots more to post later. Thanks for looking!
Another card using the Raspberry Tart Designer paper. I don't think I've ever used a specific design pack so many times. This was one of our "Getting the Most Out of Your Designer Paper" class projects. I like this design because it is so easy to change out the little sentiment for any occasion. Thanks for looking!

Raspberry Tart paper, Very Vanilla cardstock, Natural Hemp Twine, Pocket Silhouettes stamp set, incentive stamp from "Fourteen Phrases, and 1 1/4 inch square punch.

Here is the rest...

of my MIL's gift. I was going to make something more complicated but my DH decided he wanted to go visit her today, so to save the postage of sending something later I made this fairly simple card folio last night. I used more Raspberry Tart designer paper, Whisper white, and Kiwi Kiss card stock. I used the Whisper White 5/8 Organza Ribbon to tie it together. I love that ribbon! Now here is where it gets tricky. I have no idea where the little butterfly came from. (That is what happens sometimes when you unmount your stamps!) I am going to make another folder and use the butterfly from the "God's Beauty" so I can put it on my SU website. As always, thanks for looking!
