are always the toughest ones to design. I am drawn to pretty florals and soft colors so it is hard not to make to make them too girly. I think this monotoned card is very tailored and crisp and just the thing for a man's birthday. I used some Stampin' Up! Basic Gray Patterns Pack paper, Whisper White card stock, the Petal Card Big Shot die, an embossing folder, and some white twill ribbon. Inside, I used the paper left over from the die cut and some hearts punched with Stampin' Up's Heart to Heart punch out of Real Red card stock.

I agree-masculine cards are hard! I love yours-very elegant but masculine.
Great manly card. I really struggle with manly cards.
great card
Gorgeous, Cathy! I love the embossing and the muted colors... striking and elegant!
Wow, this is nice! I tend to go with Lovely As A Tree for guy cards, I can't seem to do much else. But this is clean, and wonderful. The inside is so special!

This is fabulous! I don't know what I like more...the outside unique envelope or the inside sentiment with the having to wait all day to eat cake! LOL
This is fantastic and I LOVE the verse inside!
This is awesome! Perfect masculine card. I struggle with them too and since my cards are usually not along the lines of clean and simple, I finally discovered that I could do masculine cards if I just made them clean and simple!
Oh I love it, especially the inside!
I love this...it is masculine, but also elegant. Fabulous!!
Love your card! It is manly and elegant. Love the saying on the inside! I have a hard time making masculine cards also.
