This is my place to share with family and friends. You might find handmade cards, digital scrapbook pages, photos or a little chatter because those are the things I love. My blog is a work in progress, so be patient with me. Most of the time I think I will be talking to myself, but hey, I'm used to that!

The beach is so relaxing,,,

I'm having a great time at the beach. We walked on the beach early today and the wind was really whipping up the waves. So beautiful, even with a few showers later in the afternoon. My sister Chris and I have all our card making stuff spread out on the dining room paper. Happily there are other places to eat,  lol! Today, we celebrated my birthday and Chris gave me a French manicure. I never want to do dishes again! I am too lazy to upload any pics from my camera but I do have a card to post. This is such an easy one, no brayer involved, just a couple of sponge daubers. We are working on some Black Magic technique cards tonight and I'll post those soon.

Supplies:
Stampin' Up! Naturals White card stock. DSP from the clearance rack at SU. Lavender Lace, Really Rust, Basic Black, and Mellow Moss Classic ink. SU sponge daubers. Lovely As A Tree stamp set.

Going to the beach for a few days...

What to pack? I hate this part. I "need" everything but then use about 1/2 of what I pack. Bathing suit, beach towel? Oh, that is not what I am obsessing about. What CRAFTS should I take? How much paper, ink, tools? What if I need my Big Shot? Ack! I think I will just throw as much as I can in a bunch of tote bags and load up the Jeep. Thanks goodness we are driving and not flying there. (I haven't packed a single thing and we are leaving Sunday.(Shhh) This is my current favorite card....

Supplies:
Stampin' Up!Basic Black and Very Vanilla card stock. Old world map paper and striped ribbon from my scrapbooking stash. Collage stamp from Inkadinkado. Colored with Stampin' Pastels. Ink used is SU Basic Black and Walnut distressing ink.
